Why 'Left Hand' Llamas?  (especially since none of the llamas are, in fact, left-handed.)
I live in the Left Hand Valley, near Left Hand Creek, both of which were named after beer. (Not really). The name comes from the Arapaho word Niwot, meaning Left Hand. Chief Niwot was the leader of the Arapaho around here, and a good guy, by all accounts.
